Upskilling in Supply Chain Logistics: My Coursera Takeaways

I'm thrilled to have completed my course in supply chain logistics. It gave structure to ideas I'd only picked up in fragments, and it came at the perfect time — just as my studies moved into inventory and warehouse management.
Three ideas that stayed with me
Logistics networks are designed, not inherited — every node and route exists because someone optimized for it.
Inventory is money sitting on a shelf; managing it well is managing cash flow.
The best processes are the ones that stay simple under pressure.
The biggest benefit has been vocabulary: being able to walk into a warehouse visit and understand not just what is happening, but why it was designed that way.
