Why I Chose Supply Chain & Logistics

People are surprised when I say supply chain is creative work. But think about it: every product on a shelf is the result of hundreds of coordinated decisions — procurement, production, storage, transport — each one rippling into the next.

The moment it clicked

During my first coursework in logistics, I mapped a simple fulfillment flow and realized every optimization question was really a trade-off question: speed versus cost, inventory versus availability, flexibility versus efficiency. I was hooked.

Where I'm headed

I'm now an undergraduate at SLIIT building foundations in inventory management, warehouse operations, and procurement — and getting my first taste of the industry at CBL Group. This site is where I'll document what I learn along the way.
